(Mary, Marie, Marion, Marlena, Maureen, Moira, Mimi, Molly) [1890-1902], was an unselfish child from a poor family. She had a religious nature. She spent her time cooking, cleaning and caring for the younger children in her household. When she refused the advances of an 18-year-old familiar, after several attempts to sexually assault her, he stabbed her 14 times in a rage. Before she died, she prayed for his repentance, which she accomplished 8 years later in a vision. She was canonized as a martyr for the Christian Life and is Patron of boys and girls and victims of rape. Her feast is July 6. Note: for other Saint Maria go to Madonnas.
