of Saragosa (Vincente, Vicente, Vicenzo, Vinzent, Vincenz, Vincze, Kesha) [died 304 AD], martyr. He was martyred at Valencia under Diocletian. He is the most celebrated of the Spanish martyrs, honored by Saints Augustine and Leo, and has always been widely venerated in the Western Church. He is shown as a deacon, with a millstone, a rack with hooks, with two ravens that defended his martyred body and with a basket of grapes. His is the patron of wine growers, wine makers and wineries, as well as a patron of Portugal and of torture victims. His feast is January 22.
